I’m Sara Hohn, certified vegan lifestyle coach from Main Street Vegan Academy and professionally-trained chef. My goal is to provide you with easy, delicious vegan recipes and meal plans that fit your lifestyle.
The path to going vegan isn’t always a straight line.
Vegetarian since college, and vegan for most of the last eight years, I’ve followed a long and winding road to veganism. It wasn’t an overnight thing. So trust me when I say, I’m not judgmental.
I believe in starting where you are.
My philosophy about going vegan is to start where you are. Whether you’re an omnivore, flexitarian or vegetarian, you can begin anytime. It may take a day, a year or five years to transition to a plant-based diet. Maybe your initial goal is to simply eat more plant foods. That’s totally cool. I’m here to make the process enjoyable and stress-free.
How this whole thing began
The one thing that struck me when I started cooking vegan meals for myself was that a lot of recipes I came across were needlessly complex, time-consuming and poorly written. I knew from my culinary training that preparing great food didn’t require so much effort. So with Prepgreen, I create recipes and plant-based meal plans that enable people to cook easy, satisfying meals for themselves without spending hours in the kitchen.
As a veteran of the Internet industry I also offer user experience design services for vegan-friendly businesses.
